During my recent stay at Camps Bay Retreat, I booked the Suite at Earl's Dyke for a taste of luxury blended with history. The antique furniture, spacious layout, and stunning views made for a memorable experience. The property, resembling a mini nature reserve, boasts lush greenery and small wildlife, enhancing the serene atmosphere. The spa and natural swimming pool added to the relaxation factor. However, the room had minor issues such as a leaky bath and underfloor heating not working. The value proposition lies in the historic manor home and modern suites, both offering unique experiences. Breakfast was satisfying, with a good mix of options available. The location is convenient, close to Camps Bay strip and the city center. Camps Bay Retreat offers a mix of luxury and value, with room for improvement in maintenance.
